Benefits of a Group Training Class

Updated: Apr 9

We LOVE group training classes! Not only do I teach group training classes, but I attend them with other instructors regularly. The benefit of a group training class has been unmatched in the industry thus far.

First of all, we all live extremely busy lives. Committing to meet weekly for multiple weeks in a row to work with your dog and learn from others will make a huge difference in your training success. It can be hard to make that commitment, but once you start seeing the results, the time spent with your pup becomes priceless.

Group classes also provide a unique training experience for your dog. Not only are you working on basic skills and commands, but you are working around distractions. Not only are the distractions present, but they are controlled and structured in a way to help you and your pup thrive. Your line of communication with your dog needs to be able to withstand the real world if you are going to be successful. A group class can help to bridge the gap between the real world distractions and practicing at home with no distractions at all.

Cherryhill Canine is also a huge supporter of our local dog loving community. Working alongside, and sometimes struggling through the same problems with other dog owners builds a sense of support. Depending on the way that you learn, sometimes watching others can help you understand the mechanics of dog training. Not only that, but a group class helps you to not feel alone in this journey of pet ownership. Feeling that support can make a huge difference in your confidence, and therefore your success.

Happy Training!
