How do you register for private sessions?

If we have decided that private sessions are best for you and your pup to work on any behavior problems such as resource guarding, hyperactivity, separation anxiety, excessive barking, reactivity, destructive chewing and/or digging, or aggression, you will follow the below steps.

We will start with an initial in-home session that will last about an hour and a half and we will go over management and lifestyle changes specific to your home. This session costs $120. There is a $30 travel fee if you are over 20 miles from Penn Run, PA. I have to limit my service area due to limited availability, so please let me know how far away you are before registering. I am currently only able to do private sessions on the weekends, and I am normally scheduling about 2 to 4 weeks out. My schedule is much more full during the Spring and Fall, and may be longer than that.

After the initial session, I offer a package of 3 sessions for $230 or 4 sessions for $300. These sessions last about 45 minutes to an hour and will take place at one of the training spaces that I rent in Indiana, PA or at a local park. Where these sessions are held depends on your pup and what our training goals are. I will send you a similar but different registration link for the follow up package.

What if you can’t do a group class but just need to work on basic obedience and/or manners?

If there are no major behavioral issues we can do a shorter, one hour long, initial session at one of the spaces I rent in Indiana, PA. You would then sign up for one of the above packages for follow up sessions. This option will not give us enough time to work on things like reactivity, aggression, separation anxiety, or resource guarding.

Once you know what package is right for you, how do you register?

All registration is done through an online form. The initial session has its own form that you would fill out first. It has some information about you and the dog and you would pay for that initial session when you submit. After the initial session I will send you another form for the follow up packages after we discuss what options are best for you and your pup(s).

What if you have more than one dog?

The private training sessions are charged by the hour. If you have more than one dog, I like to see them together in the initial session. For the follow up sessions we can break it up however you would like. Some sessions can be half and half, or you can rotate which dog you bring to each session. This can all be discussed at the initial session.
